The work samples for this grade, together, assist teachers to gain a common understanding of the standard of work typically produced by students whose performance, on balance, matches the description for Grade B.

Students create an artwork depicting an insect or insect-like creature.

Students experiment with a range of drawing materials and techniques to represent the subject matter of bicycles.

Students make a 3-dimensional wire sculpture of a bicycle.

Students compose and perform a piece of music.

Students work in pairs or small groups using action words as a stimulus to create a movement sequence.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
