The general structure of a first-hand investigation is present, but there is a lack of specific detail about the material to be used. No mention is made of controlling variables, such as pressure and surface, and repeated trials have not been used. The results have been tabulated, a prediction has been made and a valid conclusion has been drawn from the data, but no generalisations have been made in the follow up to the investigation. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard.
