The response does not include a greeting and lacks coherence in parts. Simple sentences have been used but the structure restricts the flow of the piece. Kanji have not been used, and there are errors in the use of vocabulary, spelling and grammar. A culturally inappropriate form of address has also been used. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard.
