Reading and Responding - Email Birthday Response - Terry : Grade Commentary
Terry has demonstrated a very high level of competence in reading and responding in French. Ideas have been expressed coherently and creatively, demonstrating an extensive vocabulary and effective use of idiomatic expression. The style is appropriate for an email text and the information has been fluently and confidently communicated, drawing on a wide range of linguistic structures. There are some minor errors but these do not impede communication. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard.

The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
