Popular Film Review - Lee : Grade Commentary
Lee has demonstrated a sound understanding of some of the conventions of a film review. A confident recount of the plot of the film with some evaluation of the characters and use of humour in the film has been provided. Film techniques have not been analysed, but there is a brief reference to the setting of the film and simplistic generalisations have been made. An awareness of audience is apparent in the review through the use of appropriate and, at times, persuasive language. Variable control of language is evident as there are errors in sentence structure, spelling and punctuation. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard midway through Stage 5.
