Darcy has demonstrated a high level of competence in composing a film review. The response is well structured and there is a clear sense of voice. A personal, colloquial approach has been taken to appeal to the target audience. Film techniques have been addressed but not in depth. The review is a little repetitive in parts and is more descriptive than analytical at times. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard at the end of Stage 5.
