Kim has demonstrated thorough knowledge and understanding of the requirements of a letter to the editor. In each letter, an attempt has been made to adopt an appropriate tone and present a point of view with supporting examples. The letters are well structured but there is some repetition and flawed expression. A stronger understanding of the key issues, particularly in the second letter, would enhance this response. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard at the end of Stage 5.
