Logical arguments have been presented and supported by evidence, showing a clear understanding of the key issues. The letters are well structured despite occasional inconsistencies in paragraphing. A sophisticated tone has been adopted and appropriate persuasive language has been used. There is effective use of rhetorical questions and humour. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard at the end of Stage 5.
