Writing - Promotional Flyer - Lindsay : Grade Commentary
Lindsay has demonstrated a high level of competence in communicating in written form. The flyer has been set out in a clear, easy-to-understand format, demonstrating thorough knowledge and understanding in the selection of appropriate vocabulary and structures. There is a clear understanding of ways in which languages work as systems and of the interdependence between language and culture. However, the response lacks creativity and does not strongly incorporate aspects of Chinese-speaking culture. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard.
Grade B
The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
