Speaking - Clothing Shop Conversation - Rania : Grade Commentary
Rania and partner have demonstrated a high level of competence in establishing and maintaining oral communciation. Linguistic patterns and structures have been used to provide information and clearly convey ideas. Grammatical rules have been successfully applied to produce a cohesive text but there are some pronunciation and intonation problems, and aspects of the culture could have been more effectively incorporated. The description lacks detail and some important aspects of politeness have not been addressed in the greetings. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by students performing at grade B standard.
Grade B
The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
