Writing - Promotional Flyer - Lesley : Grade Commentary
Lesley has responded to the task with some appropriate information and vocabulary but has overlooked some of the requirements. Some irrelevant details are included and the student has concentrated on the ‘savings’ rather than the ‘look’. The student communicates in simple sentences and uses appropriate vocabulary; however, the structures are repetitive and there is some inaccurate use of grammar and linguistic structures. He/she demonstrates some understanding of the culture of Arabic-speaking communities but the processes are not realistic. The response could be improved by additional detail in the area of ideas and opinions. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard.

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
