Winter Weeds of Crops and Pastures - Jessie : Grade Commentary
Jessie has demonstrated extensive knowledge of the management and control of significant weeds in crops and pastures. A comprehensive understanding of interactive systems in agriculture is evident, and a variety of relevant and current examples has been used. The weeds which are, or could be, a problem to spring pasture hay have been evaluated in detail, including the effects on the health of animals. Highly-developed research skills have been used to address all components of the activity. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard.
Grade A
The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
