Chris has explored and used a variety of painting techniques but has taken a formulaic approach to the mediation of the image. The collage appears to be one artwork cut into pieces with rudimentary manipulation. Chris has effectively used the structural frame. The use of the red background highlights discordant colours. There is a sense of movement but the artwork is presented in an obvious manner using a narrative approach.
