Work Samples - Grade E

The work samples for this grade, together, assist teachers to gain a common understanding of the standard of work typically produced by students whose performance, on balance, matches the description for Grade E.

Activity: Designers and their work (View Activity…)

Students select and research a design specialisation, and produce a PowerPoint presentation on the work of a specific designer in this specialisation.


Activity: Generating design ideas (View Activity…)

Students sketch, label and describe the factors considered when designing a creative toy for a young child.


Grade E

The student has an elementary knowledge and understanding in few areas of the content and has achieved very limited competence in some of the processes and skills.
