Investigating Plants - Jerry : Grade Commentary
Jerry has produced a report that demonstrates a basic knowledge and understanding of the elements of experimental design. The method has been set out in steps but some aspects such as clearly identifying variables and a control have been omitted. The diagram has not been labelled, the data in the results table are not presented clearly and a graph has not been used to show trends or patterns in the results. The discussion has presented unsupported background research and has not identified improvements in the design. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard.
