Operations with Fractions - Reese : Grade Commentary
Reese has demonstrated an elementary knowledge of operating with fractions and was unable to perform basic skills such as addition and multiplication. An attempt was made to get a common denominator, but the wrong process was used. The word problem that was supplied was unrelated to the original problem. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade E standard midway through Stage 4.

The student has an elementary knowledge and understanding in few areas of the content and has achieved very limited competence in some of the processes and skills.
