Bobby has demonstrated an elementary understanding of quadrilaterals. Although several quadrilaterals have been drawn and some understanding of the concept of a diagonal is evident, the shapes have not been named and there is no indication of their properties. There is no evidence of an understanding of the term ‘bisect’ and no conclusions have been drawn. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade E standard at the end of Stage 4.
