Fractions have been consistently added but not in the simplest form, and the strategies for multiplying and adding fractions have been confused. No understanding of multiplication is evident in questions 4, 5, 6 and 7. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard at the end of Stage 4.
