Jordan has demonstrated a limited level of competence in the addition and multiplication of fractions. There are some inaccuracies in the process of adding integers but the ability to add fractions and convert to a mixed numeral has been demonstrated. Although some understanding of the multiplication of fractions is evident in the diagram, this has not been substantiated with calculation. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard at the end of Stage 4.
