Operations with Fractions - Chandra : Grade Commentary
Chandra has demonstrated a basic understanding of the operations of fractions with a limited level of competence and success in solving routine problems. Incorrect mathematical processes were followed and there was no evidence of understanding how to multiply simple fractions or mixed numerals. The word problem did not indicate an ability to interpret or make links as it was a restatement of the question. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard midway through Stage 4.
