An accurate diagram has been constructed and the table of values has been completed using the identified number pattern but the calculation for twenty tunnels is incorrect. Robyn has recognised that there is an algebraic rule but has not been able to explain it, suggesting an inability to translate a pattern into a formula or make abstract generalisations. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard at the end of Stage 4.
