Tunnel Patterns - Morgan : Grade Commentary
Morgan has demonstrated sound knowledge and understanding of geometric patterns. An accurate diagram has been constructed and the table has been completed using the recognised pattern. The number of centicubes required for twenty tunnels has been calculated but the written explanation uses a repetitive addition approach and does not provide an algebraic representation of the rule. Morgan seems to have developed a rule that requires adding to the previous number rather than substituting. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard at the end of Stage 4.
