Operations with Fractions - Drew : Grade Commentary
Drew has demonstrated a thorough knowledge of all four processes with fractions and can apply mathematical processes to solve familiar and unfamiliar problems. An understanding of question 4 was apparent but the diagram was not fully accurate in its construction. The alternate question provided instead of the word problem showed insight into the topic. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard midway through Stage 4.
Grade B
The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
