Tunnel Patterns - Ariel : Grade Commentary
Ariel has demonstrated extensive knowledge of geometric patterns and the ability to make abstract generalisations correctly using mathematical terminology. The diagram, table and rule were correct and mathematical processes have been applied to solve unfamiliar problems accurately. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard midway through Stage 4.
Grade A
The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
