Riley has demonstrated basic knowledge and understanding of life along the Nile. Some relevant information has been presented but it is too general at times, eg ‘collected their food’. Riley has adequately communicated in report form using simple historical terms and concepts, but paragraphing is lacking. An attempt to provide a date to sequence the event has been made but modern conventions have been followed in writing the date. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard.
