Jo has demonstrated thorough knowledge of the river Nile and its importance to the Egyptians, but some of the information included could not have been observed in the manner described in the activity. Historical terms and concepts have been accurately and consistently used in this well-organised and structured response. An attempt has been made at identifying a perspective but it has not been sustained. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
