Indra has demonstrated extensive knowledge and understanding of the main features of life along the Nile. Detailed descriptions of the river and surrounding activities have been provided. Skilled empathic use of the perspective of an official has been maintained, and a clear understanding of the relationship between the Pharaoh and his subjects is evident. The descriptive report scaffold has been very competently used and accurate conclusions have been drawn from the evidence. The report is well structured with strong use of historical terms and concepts, but there are some minor anachronisms. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard.
