Writing - Reese : Grade Commentary
Reese has demonstrated a limited level of competence in applying learnt linguistic structures to express ideas. The sentence structure is simple and coherent but repetitive. Limited vocabulary has been used as similar items have been offered for lunch and dinner, but some typical French beverages have been included. Errors in the spelling of simple words and in the use of accents detract from the response. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard.

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
