Persuasive letter - Bailey : Grade Commentary
Bailey has demonstrated an adequate level of competence in composing a persuasive letter to a potential tourist to Australia. The letter is written with some fluency and sense of audience and purpose, using descriptive and persuasive language. There is evidence of sound research and selection of appropriate material to support arguments. Some editing is apparent and there is an awareness of structure, but the ending requires further work. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard at the end of Stage 4.

The student has a sound knowledge and understanding of the main areas of content and has achieved an adequate level of competence in the processes and skills.
