Jody has demonstrated basic knowledge and understanding of the structure and features of an information report. Limited information has been gathered and there is no classification or introduction. Simple descriptions with little technical language have been provided. Limited strategies have been used to spell words, punctuate and structure sentences. There is some evidence of editing and basic competence in desktop publishing skills but teacher guidance has been required to complete the activity. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard midway through Stage 3.
