Jordan has demonstrated evidence of careful observation of a variety of musical instruments and a high level of competence in using techniques such as texture, tone and line. Jordan has made informed choices to represent the subject matter of musical instruments from different viewpoints including shapes, textures patterns and lines. There is a lack of integration of background and foreground, and the artwork could be enhanced by the use of colour. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard at the end of Stage 3.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
