Kendall and partners have demonstrated a very high level of competence in composing a dance sequence. Traditional and contemporary movements have been explored, refined and organised in a composition that demonstrates an extensive understanding of the elements of dance and complex choreographic techniques. A very high level of competence is evident in the expressive and movement skills. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by students performing at grade A standard at the end of Stage 3.

Grade A

The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
