Other Work Samples for:

Ainsley has demonstrated a limited level of competence in creating, continuing and recording patterns for two of the four operations. All the patterns use simple addition and the strategies are repetitive. An attempt to use multiplication has been made but the pattern is actually based on addition. Basic explanations of the patterns have been provided. To improve, Ainsley could include more complex and varied number patterns using subtraction, multiplication and division. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard midway through Stage 2.

Grade D

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
