Other Work Samples for:

Rania has demonstrated a sound knowledge and understanding of Captain Cook’s life and journey to Australia. An adequate level of competence is evident in the reconstruction of the past using factual information and in the sequencing and describing of events. Some topic-specific language has been used and there is evidence of empathy in the inclusion of Cook’s feelings but the response moves in and out of first person and the conclusion is weak. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard at the end of Stage 2.

Grade C

The student has a sound knowledge and understanding of the main areas of content and has achieved an adequate level of competence in the processes and skills.
