Reese (little firefighter) has demonstrated an adequate level of competence in taking on and sustaining a role. Voice and movement skills have been adequately used to portray characters, and a sense of role is evident but the performance has the feel of a play reading. Reese has made an appropriate interpretation of the script and has demonstrated a sound understanding of the elements of drama such as space and focus. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard at the end of Stage 2.

The student has a sound knowledge and understanding of the main areas of content and has achieved an adequate level of competence in the processes and skills.
