Bobby has demonstrated a sound understanding of shapes and symmetry. A design has been created using a small number of pattern blocks and an accurate two-dimensional representation has been drawn. An adequate level of competence has been demonstrated in the flipping of the design and the use of mathematical language but the description of the flipping process is lacking. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard at the end of Stage 1.
