Other Work Samples for:

Eden has demonstrated sound knowledge and understanding of the features of a factual description. Simple sentences have been used and there are some appropriate adjectives but the text would be enhanced by the use of adjectival clauses. There is effective use of similes to describe the toy. The punctuation is adequate and a variety of strategies has been used to spell words. To progress further, Eden could extend the description of some aspects of the toy and use compound sentences to link ideas. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard midway through Stage 1.
