Other Work Samples for:

Dale has demonstrated thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and structure of an information report. Information from the scaffold has been transferred to the report and the present tense has been consistently used but the text has not been structured in paragraphs. Appropriate vocabulary has been used and technical terms have been included. A range of strategies has been used to spell words, and the handwriting is reasonably consistent in size and slope. To progress further, Dale could vary the use of connectives, include complex sentences and structure the information in paragraphs. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard midway through Stage 1.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
