Cam has demonstrated a thorough understanding of the concept of successive discounts. The reasoning has been explained but some of the explanation is unclear. The calculations supporting the argument are accurate. Question 2 has been answered in Question 1, and the summary is clear. Question 3 has been answered correctly and although the reasoning supporting the solution is not very neat, the logic is good. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B7 standard at the end of Stage 5.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
