Other Work Samples for:

Drew has demonstrated thorough knowledge and understanding of congruence and similarity. The diagrams have been correctly labelled showing all relevant information, although the example in Question 2 is incorrect. Drew has correctly drawn similar triangles and provided reasons for congruency but the explanations could be clearer, particularly in relation to the use of ratio as a condition for both similarity and congruency. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B7 standard at the end of Stage 5.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
