Other Work Samples for:

Frances has demonstrated extensive understanding of successive discounts. The problems have been accurately solved and algebraic generalisations have been used to explain the reasoning. Efficient strategies have been used and the generalised calculations involving x, rather than a numerical amount, show a very high level of competence in the processes and skills. Mathematical ideas have been clearly and effectively communicated, with number rules incorporated in proofs. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A10 standard at the end of Stage 5.
