Shannon has demonstrated a very high level of competence in written communication. The presentation draws on a wide range of appropriate vocabulary, linguistic structures and features. Fluent communication has been maintained with excellent use of kanji and katakana. Creative appeals to the audience have been made and a perceptive understanding of the ways in which the language works has been demonstrated. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard.

Grade A

The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
