Drew has demonstrated an extensive knowledge and understanding of the culture of Japanese-speaking communities and a very high level of competence in communicating ideas in Japanese. Detailed information has been provided and a wide range of appropriate vocabulary, linguistic structures and features have been used. Drew has communicated ideas fluently and used script well. A perceptive understanding of the ways in which the language works is evident. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard.

Grade A

The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
