Sam has demonstrated limited competence in selecting software and hardware for a given scenario. A potential benefit for individuals using current technologies has been identified, but there is limited discussion of the proposed solutions and minimal reference to the impact of past, current and emerging technologies on society or the environment. Ethical issues relating to privacy and security have been identified but the discussion of these areas lacks depth. Sam has used some technical language but the presentation is basic.
