Casey has shown a significant level of analysis when researching a privacy policy, and has analysed other policies and come up with their own. There is a range of backup showing good understanding and thorough knowledge of backup processes and media. Definitions are thorough and show student understanding of ethics and morals. Casey has followed guidelines and coherently communicated ideas, but not independently and not in a logical sequence: ie they could have performed research first and then come to a conclusion about definition. Fields are not logically set out - should have medication and past illness together. Casey has analysed available software and shown how they cater for different needs and proposed a range of software. Casey is showing thorough knowledge of the use of PowerPoint and has developed a thorough knowledge of the terms. There is evidence of critical thinking through some features of a data privacy policy. This shows some attempt at analysing the problem to show the effects that the technology has on society. To improve, a deeper knowledge of database theory is required through improvement of the data dictionary to achieve Grade A. There is also a thorough but not extensive knowledge of backups, but Casey has not shown a clear-cut understanding. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard.
