Product Illustration - Ariel : Grade Commentary
Ariel has demonstrated extensive knowledge of graphics standards, procedures, and conventions, and has independently incorporated a range of features in the product illustration. A very high level of competence is evident in the development of a wide range of sketches showing component details, experimentation, scale and proportion. Ariel has demonstrated confidence and competence in the use of CAD applications, and extensive knowledge in idea development. The CAD drawings are of a very high quality, and the conceptual sketches show a clear progression through the design process to achieve a final product. The presentation has been confidently communicated to the audience. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard.
Grade A
The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
