Other Work Samples for:

Jessie has used a thorough knowledge of film techniques to analyse elements of the chosen film. Some advanced techniques such as parody and intertextuality have been identified but without detailed explanation on how they create meaning. Whilst the review is structured and the expression is for the most part accurate, it lacks cohesion between paragraphs and the level of language is unvaried. At times the review incorporates unnecessary information about the film and filmic techniques. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard at the end of Stage 5.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
