Eden has demonstrated extensive knowledge and understanding of film techniques in film analysis. The analysis is insightful and sophisticated. Some advanced techniques, such as parody and intertextuality, have been identified but without detailed explanation on how they create meaning. The review has been well-structured with judiciously selected information, and a clear personal style is apparent. Extensive vocabulary and fluent, clear and varied sentences have been used. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard midway through Stage 5.

Grade A

The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
