Huong has demonstrated thorough knowledge and understanding of design in the analysis of the three jewellery designs. A range of creative and thoroughly annotated sketches has been produced. Huong has used a wide variety of appropriate techniques to effectively communicate design ideas. A variety of factors, including cost, function and durability, have been considered in the justification of the selection of one design idea. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at Grade B standard.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
