Other Work Samples for:

Shane has demonstrated a high level of competence in using relief printing practices and techniques to represent the subject matter of still life. The composition is structured and competently balanced in the disposition of patterned areas. There is a consistent quality in the printmaking and colour has been used in a harmonious and subtle manner in most areas of the composition. The reliance on directional line creates a decorative and patterned surface rather than the representation of either form or texture, but the incorporation of text and several pattern making devices creates interest for the viewer. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
